Rules:
Hello General Managers,
Welcome to the EHM Elite Hockey League. II am eager to begin, and know you are too. In order to have a successful and fun experience, I need to give a clear and decisive list of league rules that will ultimately serve as our CBA agreement.
1. Trade negotiations may be done through the PM option, or through other means at the discretion of the GM. All negotiations should be private. You may post rumors on our chat box feature.
2. All trades must be posted and confirmed under the "Trading" area on the forum. Once a trade has been filed the league will review and accept it, barring any errors within the structure or pieces of the trade.
3. All rosters are from post 2011 Trade deadline day. Not only does this include players, but also appropriate draft picks. (i.e. Dustin Penner to Kings, Kings 1st Round Pick to Oilers)
4. A player with a 1-way contract you wish to send to the minors, must pass through 12 hours of waivers. After 12 hours the team ranked lowest in the standings among those who made a claim receive the player. If unclaimed, the GM may opt to assign them to their AHL-affiliate.
5. The league will observe No-Trade and No-Move clauses. In order to waive a No-Trade or No-Move, you must contact the NTC/NMC committee members.
6. League salary cap will be $65,000,000.
7. League Agents will run the free agency pool and all signings of free agents. You may offer your own player contract extensions in the final year of their current contract or during the re-signing phase.
You may trade:
-NHL players, AHL players, prospects, 2011, 2012, and 2013 draft picks (keeping in mind each year includes 5 rounds), conditional picks (for the same years) and future considerations. Lending of money is NOT permitted due to the large amount of cap room.
